In Mexico’s Coach Station she is separated from Ling and she is sent to live in another factory in the middle of nowhere. Getting sick or pregnant is also forbidden. Zhai is forced to work more than in China and is allowed to go to the town very rarely and always in small groups under the supervision of SERGIO. Zhai will experience fear, racism, but also true friendship and support with PENG and a weird feeling provoked by JUAN, a mexican indigenous, younger than her who doesn’t look at her like the others does.
